Writerly Life at the Virginia Cabin, Day 2

Maggie watched the Guinea hens cross the road while I wrote.

 

The afternoon rain held off just long enough for me to go visit my friend, Joe, up the hill.

 

I'm only writing a book.  Joe is building a house.

 

Meanwhile, Maggie was having a nervous breakdown.
