Better Late than Never...Planting the Seed

There will be a garden this year.  That is, if these little peat pellets really do morph into nurturing pods of carrot, tomato, bean and cucumber plants.  It was one of those "Just Add Water" things that promises to create its own hothouse effect for the heirloom seeds I purchased at Lowes.  (Somehow it seems wrong that I should be buying heirloom anythings from a monolithic home and garden center.  Better Lowes than Walmart, I suppose.)

In the meantime, if anybody knows anyone who does plowing around Ferrum, I'd sure like to hire 'em.  Old wimmin like me aren't too great when it comes to tilling up the uncultivated land.
